Researchers excavating in Argentina have unearthed the biggest dinosaur ever discovered. A massive herbivore that weighed approximately 77 tonnes.
Just by that picture alone you can see how big the animal was, and that’s only its femur! The team managed to find a variety of bones, all in excellent condition.
It likely lived around 95 and 100 million years ago, feasting in the forest on the tall trees. It hasn’t been named it, but it’s said that it will be recorded after the region it was found (Patagonia) in and also the local farmers that alerted palaeontologists about the discovery.
I rate it’s safe to say that this was the biggest creature to ever walk our planet!
