An ancient relief found in the Egyptian Gebel el Silsila quarry north of Aswan, is a rare depiction of two pharaonic deities dating back 2,500 years.
The relief was found by Swedish archaeologists in the region and shows the combination of two deities, namely Amen-Re and Thot.
Other discoveries from the dig include a relief showing the transportation of two obelisks, which is said to date back Queen Hatshepsut’s days, as well as a sphinx-shaped statue.
